PV not staying constant

I recently added an EV tube geyser to my house. This has the PTC element that can work off DC or AC. I have not linked the DC side. It is linked to a geyserwise controller. 2 KW element.

When I hit the button to switch the element on (it is not on timers, I do it manually) the inverter shows that the PV input ramps up to around 3 kw but then it goes down to zero and the bypass shows and then cycles back up to the 3kw again.

I have a 5 kw Solarwyze inverter, a 120 amp 5.5 kw battery and 12 440 W panels.
It just seems strange that it does this and only for the geyser which leaves me to believe it has something to do with that particular element. However I may be way off and it may be something to do with the inverter set up.

Does any one have an opinion please.

Thanks

Evacuated tube solar geyser. Sits on roof. Heats by solar or AC. My DB board is not split which enables me to switch this onto AC at will by the push of a button, (or my phone as it has wi fi)

Today was no clouds

I have no idea what you mean by "3kw" for a hot water heater. My guess us the system works as follows:
PTC is on hot water side of the tube.
When the tube heats up, it starts the pump.
If temp is too low, it shuts down the pump.

There may be a 2nd thermostat at the hot water heater. If when up to temp, it also turns off the pump.

check:
temp at tube
Check ptc signal when cold and hot.
Check hot water tank thermostat.

Maybe pump moves water too fast, and ptc gets too cold and shuts down the pump.

Maybe try to use wire to check controller. Ptc should close or open the circuit at desired temp. Shorting the connection at the controller should start or stop the pump.
