I plan on using 2 DP & DVH mainly for critical load backup through my generator interlock until a larger full system is installed. I am paring them with 10 200w Renogy suitcases. They will also be useful around the property to power other needs. I started with the Delta Pros as we have 2 wells and several out building we could share portable power to. Throwing one in each of the Jeeps for overlanding is an added bonus.

I am disappointed that the DVH disables the 120 VAC outputs though. Looking at the DVH the NEMA L14-30 socket it is labeled AC 125V/250v 30A and shows the split phase 120v pins. This got me thinking it might be an easy work around for a portable solution for both 125vc and 240vc.
Using a NEMA L14-30P to 2 Outlet Port L14-30R Y Splitter. Hook one leg to a 240v load and the other to a L14-30R 30-Amp 125/250-Volt Generator Extension Cord with four protected 5-20R outlets

I think the DVH should see this load the same as a home panel. I already have the 4 outlet extension(will ring out the pins to be sure before hooking to DVH) but before I order a splitter I'm asking the wisdom of the forum why would this not work as long as total load is kept under 30 amps? Am I missing something?
