Hey Guys, I recently purchased a LifePower 4 to replace some aged AGM batteries. I am having trouble finding my old installer who can program the Outback FM 80 MPPT with the correct settings. Could anyone tell me the specs to setup this charger for this battery?
If it works out, then i'll be getting 2 more LifePower 4s.

Thanks
Gairy

FM80 works fine with LFP.

Disconnect the temp sensor to disable temperature compensation.

Simply set absorption, absorption time limits, absorption end amps, and float values to those desired.

Disable Equalization.

Assuming 48V

For slow, gentle charging that maximizes cycle life:
Absorption: 55.2V
Time: 2 hours
End amps: 1% of your capacity (1A per 100Ah battery)
float: 54V

For fast charging:
Absorption: 56.8V
Time: 30 minutes
End amps: 4% of your capacity (4A per 100Ah battery)
float: 54V
