$100 per kilowatt Lifepo4 deal

I'm getting 3... wow that's awesome!
Anybody in NC wanna get some? Free shipping over first battery.
Please post to this thread when you get it up and running. Would love to know the details. David Poz is where I first discovered this deal. Cant wait to see how he implements it into his system.

If I had the $ money right now I'd road trip it. Still a deal even if shipped. Cheaper than my 1.5 kw lifepo4 setup

No argument there... they are still cheap enough to order three myself.

...And thanks for the discount code, @Will Prowse ! What do you suggest for BMS for these?

This will bump me to just over 23 kWh... I should be good to go for a while.

I'd be terrified to see what they would charge to ship it to Canada and whether or not it would even get across the border. Darn Shame.

Holy Moly, these things are going quick! David Poz mentioned that he didn't see many there when he purchased his 12. We in this string account for an additional six so far, and 30 others are claimed to have been purchased in David's thread.

Yeah I just went on vacation and kinda wish I hadnt... otherwise I'd be driving there now to snag one.

Hopefully all these used commercial ess products are a sign of things to come. I can't buy anything for a few more months so I'm hoping some similar things pop up for when I start building my house...

The whole recycle / upcycle sector is boogying along at an increasing pace. New facilities for recovery, testing & redistribution are coming online (many in Europe & Asia) and now also stepping up in North America. Considering what appears to be mostly 2-5 year old products showing up (Valence Batteries, the Samsung ESS packs and all the others) from various commercial, industrial areas it shows... So 1st & 2nd generation products are in the stream now and that will only increase. Several companies like SDK in France recover & upcycle their cells and partnered to others to do so... good times coming for sure.

If you are on the West Coast and looking for a similar size battery, EVWest has the 3.3kWh Samsung packs for under $500, if you take the road trip into consideration so you are not paying shipping that makes them cheaper than driving to PA from SF or LA. Now we just need some kind of smart grid-tie inverter to turn them into a real powerwall

Yeah, but they are lithium ion... not lithium iron...

Would one or more of these work well with the MPP all in one units (AIO)? From my understanding I would need to add an 8s 200A BMS. How would I add in temp protection to prevent charging at 32F with an AIO?
