Im going on an off grid campint trip on Wed for two weeks. Over the last month and a half I have been outfitting my truck for this trip. Part of what I built was a solar generator using solar panels, a solar charger, a 230 AH battery and this 3000W inverter. All this is pretty much to power...
Im setting up my truck to do some remote camping for two weeks. Going to be driving several hours each day. I will have a 300W panel on my room going through a 150/45 victron charger charging my 230AH battery. Now this should be fine for the small draws Im going to be using it for. However...
IM guessing no. On the side of the unit it says max voltage 25V. This panel says 33V. Im planning on using one panel but can see installing two in the future.
I liked the idea of being able to charge off panels as well as my alternator as I am driving.
If this doesn't work does victron make...
I would like to build a solar generator. I am to the sizing of an inverter. For now I really only think I need to run two dorm friges. So I was going to get a victron 500 inverter. In the back of my mind I can some day see using an induction to cook instead of propane. Id assume they draw...
