Another wish list, A script or addon for the mqtt population for home assistant to use the autodiscover of sensors. I started manually entering in the payloads but am not familair enough with HA to know all the variables and icons :P

Thats what I originally thought but I receive a heap of compile errors and then a compile failure, I had to comment out the MQTT_loop cal as well

Not sure if my latest pull was sucessful of not. but am troubleshooting my influx on a new system and dont need the MQTT data push. I tried commenting out the fileds in secrets for the mqtt but then get an error on compile referring to the undefined strings. what is the easiest way to disable...

Followup to this great info. Has anyone developed an android App around the nspanel pro to display the mqtt graphics that you are aware off? seems like as more and more of these devices get released and the pricing model drops it may be another way to go :P

Dont suppose you are working on any updates to be able to write the registers as well. Be nice to be able to backup a config and upload to a new device...Like i'll have to do shortly :)

NO battery yet in this system. but it cuts down on power usage during day. currently it is only running the fridge and my servers, not much. Im assuming the new code is on GITHUB already so ill have a peak. One of my other Growatt installs (SPF5000ES) went out in a boom yesterday :(

Yes, the issue i was having was the newer version of Influx didnt like the credentials i was pushing (v2) but once i worked out i could use the v1 shell and recreate the user account and password it was away. The newer influx also wasnt listening on the correct ports but after that it was away...

Im having the same issue. cannot work out how to configure my graffana influx data source to work. Have the code on the stick pointing to my server IP but logs just show contsnat connection attempts

i didn't have to have mine connected to the inverted. i did however have to power it via the usb a connection. my computer would not see the ssid of the dongle but my phone did. as soon as it connected to my phone my primary network for local wifi were transferred over and it started working on...

that did the job nicely!

I am still having issues even getting my dongle to communicate with the Arduino IDE. It compiles no issue says its uploading but fails. Im using a Cisco USB Console cable with the pins broken out to an rj45 socket I ahve then jumpered to my board. I run OSX so dont see many applications to use...
