Just starting on this venture, built an on-grid house in 2000 with my family. Now looking for retirement life with small cabin in the woods in SW Virginia. Not a licensed electrician, but wired my own house in 2000 and plan to wire my next build. Hoping to have minimal electric needs, mostly propane and wood heat.
