- I'm a recently retired carpenter with experience in other trades. Worked for an electrical contractor 40 years ago. Lifelong tinkerer on anything I came across; cars, bikes, radios, and so on. Awaiting delivery of two Growatt inverters, which will be inverters number 7 and 8, I think. Yikes. Had a grid tied system installed on another house in 2011, a great lease deal that cost us nothing out of pocket.
