Retired Pulp and Paper Engineer. Became interested in solar 2 years ago and purchased a grid tie system for home. Thought I could improve on it and started with DIY batteries (built 2 300Ahr 24V LiFePO4) and experimented with various inverters and other components to try run whole home AC off solar back-up during peak hours. I purchased an RV with 600W of solar panels and discovered significant dangerous installation errors and rebuilt to current system. Helped several others build systems.
