I may yet have to consider bifacials, but when I review their specs many panels (above 400W) seem to have an Imp / Isc > 12A (the “limit” according to Deye and Sig Solar documentation).

FWIW, I recall reading that the folks at Solar ACDC in Australia commonly install two series strings of panels (one string facing east, one string facing west) in parallel feeding their solar hybrid mini-spit units to flatten and elongate the daily power curve.

What a clean and efficient installation at the unit - beautiful! How did you connect the unit’s two DC wires (assuming you clipped off the MC4 connectors) to your 12 AWG THHN whip wires underneath the electrical access cover? Wire nuts or something else?
