Be cool if they made this in split phase for whole home backup Stateside
Of course it would probably have to be a Solark. Still, 50kw would backup a 200 amp panel with ease.

Didn’t see price listed but still kind of cool.
I was under the impression that you can't charge and discharge simultaneously, so does this cause issues if you have two AIOs with solar input connected to one large battery pack?
I know you would need to run each AIO to a completely separate load center. Just wondering if this was possible...
Just was reading another thread of solving ground/neutral bonding issues with some of the less expensive AIO units, and thought this might be a decent idea for those out there using these offgrid units but still wanting the utility for times of low battery/solar production…
So what if you keep...
So my Florida home is getting slowly closer to its completion date, and I have a pretty competitively priced install for 35kw of solar installed with iq8s and Qcells, but I really don't want to pay for their proprietary battery system, so I've been debating about ways to remedy this with...
Don't have a house quite yet for the solar build, but I'm putting together my parts list so I can get started when I get the keys. All I have to offer is my parts list and a picture of my unfinished home ?
Parts list so far with est pricing:

So these inverters aren't even here yet. I am just gauging interest. I ordered them about a month ago, and they should be arriving at my house in about two weeks. I am in great falls, VA. I changed my mind. I was going to do an unpermitted off-grid install, and now I am going to do a...
Not sure if this would even work, let alone help anyone out. Before I dive into the details, here is the proposed idea:
-Install panels on single Solark 15k, let's say 19500 watts DC coupled right into the solark.
-Hookup a bunch of batteries to a busbar, hook that up to the solark.
-Run the...
Still in the planning phases for my residential solar install in FL. Am still considering DIY as opposed to grid-tie, because of the heavy install cost on the quotes for Solarks/Scheider etc.
Found these Sandi 30KW inverters, and the pricing is fantastic ($5900). Their matching HV battery is...
Just a hypothetical here. From what I understand, the IQ8 microinverters, when installed with the "solar backup" option, has a auto-transfer switch installed before the meter, which disconnects you from the grid in case of a power outage, in order to supply your house with power from the...

Something is not adding up with these plans. Back when I was living in San Diego, almost all my power usage was billed at ~$.54 per kw/h and my monthly elec bill was around $450/m (1600sf house). Almost no one I knew that lived in a larger home (3000-4000sf) had under a...
Interested in going with Schneider over Solark with my build for my new house for the low frequency, but can't seem to determine if it is possible to get the full 180 amps of passthrough from the XW's. I know Schneider says 60 something amps max from grid per XW... and total... because AC...
Just curious if this is something doable. I was thinking about order three of signature solars bundle kits with the 2 EG4 inverters, 11,900 watts of PV, and 20.5kw/h of battery to back up a roughly 2400sf new construction in FL. I was just trying to think of how to feed the grid into the...
