JBertok

I've learned how to fix or build everything I've ever needed to because I consider that my fun. I would rather buy the tools, invest the time, and master the craft, than pay someone else to likely fall short of my expectations. I'm opposed to people who information-silo and therefore like to share and help when possible.

Background
Bought my first four Siemens M55 panels in 1996, Trace SW2512 in 2000, Trace C40 w/DVM in 2001, more panels and upgrades to Xantrex MPPT chargers over the years. (Experienced Xantrex Communications Gateway and Conext Combox failed products also.) I can answer most Trace/Xantrex SW and Schneider XW configuration and operational questions.
Current or Future Solar Power System
x2 XW Pro 6848, x4 MPPT 60/150, Insight Gateway, Battery Monitor, x72 REC 260w panels, x8 L16 FLA batteries. No NEM!

"Spending $500 on a poorly-engineered cheap product versus $800 on the proper product isn't saving $300.... it's WASTING $500."
