I have upgraded to the eg4 3k and 4 48v wp batteries. But have not connected solar yet because I cannot figure out how to correctly wire this breaker. I'm not sure which side the solar goes in because I have been confused by some things I have heard lately about higher/lower potential energy vs...
If the controller gets above 45⁰c it limits the incoming pv power, as Paraphrased by the manual so I put a 24v 4 wire pwm cpu cooling fan under the heat sink to keep as cool as possible with ambient air so far as soon as it gets to 200W it heats up and slowed its production instead of being...
I recently bought 2 ehv-48 3k from eg4 and some hyperion bifacial panels to go with it but what I want to know is what size heavy load resistor will I need to pre charge the inverter capacitors internally?
Great question Greg I wish someone would answer because I'm about to purchase two of them myself...btw how do you like the unit...also what batteries and panels are you using if you are using solar that is..?
That's a good idea and "maybe" have it controlled by AI based on prior history of previous use and have an always ask, ask only this time, or never ask again type check box something that could always be changed in the system settings regardless, but similar to say Microsoft 🪟? My question here...
As an engineer you always calculate in extra safety factors overkill when it comes to safety is good. That is my opinion..I operate in the belief that it's better safe than sorry, maybe that's just me but I highly doubt that...
So then is it okay if I'm using my batteries for solar and they stay in boost all day and never "float"..btw im using a renogy rover 60A-li charge controller? But I'm planning on upgrading to get 2 of the eg4 3kw and 4 of the eg4 48v wp batteries in conjunction with 395W hyperion bifacial does...
May be off topic of this thread I am looking to get two of the eg4 3kw to parallel for split-phase are they worthwhile for the incredibly reduced cost? I think so, but I cannot seem to settle on a battery I like..I have considered Two options budget is the biggest factor here for somebody as...
It is my understanding that lithium iron phosphate cells do not need to be put into float mode bc they are either fully charged or they are not. If that makes any sense the way I said it.. bit I'm not sure why they suggest a float voltage bc like I said I thought they are notnsupposed to...
Iam actually trying to find a nicer inverter with more output maybe one with split, phase..but I suppose I will need to go to 48V for that? Unless you know or a good off grid inverter like that, But is still 24V?
