Thanks. Each string is 446.76v as the voc is 37.23v and there's 12 panels per string. Do IMO offer a product that will handle 2x strings at this rating? I'm assuming it needs to be >1000V rated

Is this common to all inverters? Hybrid and offgrid? It makes sense that the inverters are bypassed (e.g. a 3kw inverter would often require bypassing), but I wanted to make sure that's how they operate, rather than shutting down with an overload warning.

So if I used an 8kw off grid all in one inverter (with an AC/grid input), and had that connected to a CU which powered a 9kw device for example, would the inverter produce 8kw and then take the extra 1kw from the grid/AC? Or would it overload?
