I set up my solar system in 2018, upgrading everything now(2024) not alot of electrical knowledge but I did go to a tech school for welding and fabrication and my father was an electrician.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Upgrading from 2, 55amp hour centennial AGM batteries wired to keep 12v. Charging With 2, 100 watt Renogy solar panels about 50 feet away. Going through 20 amp Epever MPPT. IOTA DLS-55/IQ4 12 Volt 55 amp charger connected to 2200 what Yamaha generator charging the batteries frequently. 2,000 watt pure sine inverter running computers, laptops, battery banks, TV, surround sound, keyboard, mixer, PA system, lights etc.. Coffee grinder. I have a large one for an AC unit. Upgrading to; 200AH LiFePo4 LiTime battery. I may add one more. 60amp Litime MPPT. Looking at getting a LITime 40amp battery charger and a couple more panels.
