They discontinued it because it was a total fail. Far too many problems with this high frequency, transformerless inverter.

High frequency is not really fine because it's shorter life expectancy when powering inductive loads, its much lower surge capacity and its lack of galvanic isolation between its DC boost stage and its AC output which can lead to appliance fires during a catastrophic failure of the H-Bridge circuit.

I would never buy either one of these inverters. They're both high frequency units with no output transformer so they both have poorer peak power capacities and that offer shorter life expectancies than low frequency transformer based inverters.
