They aren’t publishing any prices and not giving any quotes. I suspect it’s going to be Tesla model, propriety installers who can pick up the 30% credit as installation cost
I’ve done a lot of research and I’m trying to figure this one out. I have 2 200 A breaker panels.
I wanted to install an indoor disconnect GF224N which will be in between the grid and the breaker panel
Is there a minimum distance that I have to maintain between the breaker panel and the indoor...
Oh well after much research looks like the powerwall inverters are crap and unreliable, I’ll likely resort to Solark and eg4 indoor for my system
Time to install mts with permit and the show will begin
Tesla quoted
Let’s see what the actual install price will be, currently it’s $6500 for installation
I’m in texas so will be using night free plan to charge battery and use in the day
Not doing solar since we installed concrete tile roof and don’t want to spoil the look
I’ve got a quote for pw3
Seems very comparable
I’ve got 2 200 amp main breaker panels
3 pw3 with installation - $29k - 39kwh energy storage
Vs
3 Eg4 power pro + 2 Solark 15k + 2 disconnect install - $31k - 42kwh energy storage
Saves the hassle of self install.
If it remains within this range...
Does anyone know of an electrician in Dallas area ? I’ve connected the batteries to inverter but need an electrician to connect my main breaker to inverter
I’ve called around about 15-20 electricians but no luck, the solar installers only want to sell their products
Thanks much
Everyone - have a quick qs
Can I connect 2 same brand same kw 48v batteries to 2 same brand inverters in parallel with 2 separate (but same Amp) AC input to the 2 inverters ?
Basically ac input/output won’t be in parallel but individually connected to the inverters but battery input will be...
Thank you all for the feedback - still researching and planning
Definitely installing microair soft starters to bring down lra on the ac units
Also likely going for solark 15k as it has 220 ac pass through and well equipped
ROI with batteries abt 7.5 years
If I add solar 11kw system about 6.5...
Have searched everywhere but wasn’t sure abt this answer - Growatt 12k inverter - can I connect the grid AC wires directly to the AC IN of the Growatt and AC out to the 200 Amp main panel breaker ?
Wasn’t sure if that’ll burn the inverter - the AC breaker on the Growatt is 80 A
Obviously not...
Is your setup still working? Any issues with the electricity providers for using time off use and batteries?
What loads are you using with the Solark 15?
Thanks much for your response
