Background
My hubby and I live 100% off grid, in a small hand built castle, on a mountain side in the high desert of far west Texas, since Dec '07.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Currently running 2 separate systems, both are 12 volt, did all the work ourselves.
1st system, 400 watts solar panels, Xantrex C60, Bestek 2000 watt modified sinewave inverter, 4 Duracell GC2 golf cart batteries.
2nd system, 640 watt solar panels, 60A MakeSkyBlue MPPT charge controller, Renogy 3000 watt pure sinewave inverter, 100 amp hour BattleBorn battery (about to purchase a second BattleBorn battery to add to the system).
