JK BMS no longer showing up on device list

I recently replaced the two Daly BMS on my 48v lifepo4 battery banks with units from JK. They've been running fine for the last few days but this morning I noticed that only one of the two is showing up under the device list in the JK app. The led on the BMS is on and it seems to be working normally, just no Bluetooth connection. I tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, no change.

Any thoughts?

1. Make sure nothing else has connected to that BT instead, LED on means something is holding the BT connection open.
2. Power cycle the phone so it absolutely does forget the connection, then reconnect.
3. Pull the 2 balance cable connectors from the BMS to reset it.

Resetting the BMS rectified the issue.

How do you reset bms?

I have 3 JK BMS all with same issue of dissappearing bluetooth. I use the VENUS OS and PI setup with the USB interface that that is reliable no issues. But if I want to use the JK app over bluetooth to change a setting I often need to power off the JK using the optional power button. Once I reset all is fine for a few days or weeks. So I would add:

4.Use the power button on JKBMS to cycle it on and off (long press to turn off, short press to turn back on)

3. Pull the 2 balance cable connectors from the BMS to reset it.

What do you mean 'balance' cable connectors?
