Shipping porn: this is how you pack cells!

That's a brilliantly simple setup. I'd strongly consider it myself if i had more capacity and my install wasn't remote. Your cells are in an unheated shipping container? How cold do ambient temps drop?
average is -10°c over night with the occasional -20 cells are boxed in with blue foam on all sides and then 3 aluminum panels one on the bottom with 8 pads wired in series then each side of the "compression rig" has four pads on each side. all wired in series. total output is less than 25 watts but its on 24-7 as I said the temps in the box (originally only one but now three) range from 10°c to a high of 25°c i used a four channel perfect prime datalogger last winter to log and check temps, with two probes lower in the box and two higher at either end to watch for overheating. when no issues came about I know have one probe in each box (dead center/middle height of cells) and one hanging out for ambient.

edit: yes unheated container that is part of my shop see photo.IMG_0482[1].JPG
