12 v 280 ah x 2 LiTime for $98?

Has to be a scam. That's not LiTime's website, and those prices would be astronomically low. That's less than a tenth of what they would list two batteries of that capacity for.
 
I do not see that on the linked web site. The 280ah 12vDC battery is $710 ea.
 
It is strange. The pop up Facebook has an and where you can buy but the link takes you to a different location. Hawkins Miller Diaz has a Facebook page advertising the $98 sale. I am guessing this is no different than the Craigslist ads for Honda generators selling for $50. I think it is in the too good to be true area. I will pass.

Nearly ~6kWh of battery storage for $98 is very deep into the "too good to be true" territory.
 
I bought into it, paid with PayPal and then filed a case. PayPal wouldn't give them the money unless I told them that I received the goods. It was Celanese corp. All is clear now that it is a scam.
