2 x in 1 box LifePO4 15S build with JK-B2A24S20P BMSs

15S Pack using 200AH cells example.
LFP @ 3.000V X 15S = 45.0V while 16S=48.0V
LFP @ 3.200V X 15S = 48.0V while 16S=51.2
LFP @ 3.400V X 15S = 51.0V while 16S=54.4

15S MIMMICKS 48.V FLA and is commonly used for older equipment that has locked charging/discharging profiles that do not support LFP or other Newer Chemistries. No New Equipment is limited by such.

Both a 15S or 16S can output that 200A but the difference is how long they can do that is also a factor... 1 less cell IS a bit of loss on that end.

Hey sorry to highjack the thread but what would a 15s 2p battery look like layout wise? I have 2 damaged cells so am stuck with 30 cells total. Purchased a 15s bms

The same as the pictures that were posted minus 2 cells. As far as the JK BMS, you would simply need to make cell 16 vacant, not cell one or any other than cell 16

What happened to the cells??

Thanks man, and I have a 15s bms made for my application but I was using the battery for a go kart and it got pretty banged up lol, opening up 2 cells I knew because they smelt bad
