Solar panels cause bad weather.

Why is it that every time I get in some new panels or I want to reconfigure an old array the weather turns bad for several days? It is darn hard to check operation when there is no or limited sun available. You would think that solar panels would give you more sunny weather but perhaps they should be named "No solar" panels due to their effect.

Maybe it could help drought plagued areas by installing a bunch of new panels for testing? I swear it is more reliable weather control than washing your car.

My mother always said whenever she planted anything in the garden it would rain...

I think she just planted stuff when it was cloudy...

YEP, Murphy's Laws Apply without a doubt. Dunno about you folks, but if I ever cath Murphy, he'll be dragged down the road with a chain around his neck attached to my bumper.... Top of my hit list.... suffered far too much from his antics...

Can confirm. We had a few weeks of high 80s and sunshine. Until I installed my new 12k btu minisplit. Since then, the temps have been perfect. Other than testing after install, I haven't turned it on.

I know a guy who hates Murphy's Law because he said he was always blamed for everything that went wrong, and he had no one to blame but himself.

And wind turbines make the the wind stop blowing. I've often joken that I could control the weather since it always rained for a week straight after I finished up a solar project and the wind just died after I put up a small turbine.

We had numerous family camping trips that got rained out. I'm not talking a gentle spring shower either, like 100 yr flood, evacuate the campground before it's under water and you and your RV or tent are washed down the river. We thought about offering up our family vacations for hire to drought plagued areas.

Proof positive! I hooked up 2 new 200w bifacial panels this morning and sure enough it is now raining outside. I wonder how many days I will have to wait for the curse to wear out this time?

I will give them a little credit in that they waited a couple of hours to turn on the rain works rather than deluging me as I tried to install them like the last panels did. Those caused 4 inches of rain over 5 days before they finally relented.
