I bought 36v 48ah 1.78kWh SPIM08HP POWER Module about 2 years ago from battery hookup and QTY:8. (https://batteryhookup.com/products/36v-48ah-1776wh-spim08hp-36v-power-module) I bought these when I was learning about batteries and thought it was good deal. I have pallet of solar panels which is three kilowatt and I would like to hook it up but most of the system I see is 48 volt.
I have thought about turning into 24 volt then hook them up to make 48 volt. If I try to separate there is all threaded bar on a both side to keep them under pressure. I am nervous too separate them and remove the pressure.

Can you guys give me some ideas what are my choices here.

Why not get a 36V charge controller and inverter? There are plenty of options out there for them. Looks to me a lot more simple than toying around with those batteries.

i used those batteries before and still have some 7s 24v modules .the threaded rods just hold the pack housing assemblies together , no pressure is applied to the actual batteries .
