Using 12v Outlet as Input for the battery bank

Due to lack of space and free contacts, I am considering using a 12V outlet connector as an input point. Let me explain better:

in normal conditions this 12v outlet is used to draw power from the house battery, with traditional 12v car chargers

if, instead, I used this outlet to bring power to the battery, for example via a 220v-12v charger, could this cause problems in any way? the outlet is a quality one declared 20A, as are the cables I used, and my input would only be 10A

the 220v charger will only be used occasionally, that's why this flying connection

Am I missing something, or is this perfectly doable?

is fine.
My first rig I added a DC outlet just for this reason - to charge from a charger that I put DC plug on. Ths outlet doubled as an actual outlet when not used for charing. Though, mine went straight to the battery and not through a fuse panel, still fused of course.
Was super easy way to hook up a charger for the few times I charged it that way. I didnt know much about this stuff back then. I would do it differently now, and the only draw back is you have a live DC plug with pos and neg metal contacts on the outside if you plug your charger in and dont have the plug plugged in to anything. - just dont short it out on anything.

Thank you both! I will use this charger for emergency only, and it will not normally be connected to 220v so there are no major problems with short circuit risks.
