SunGold PureSineWave 3000W inverter/charger error on installation startup

I switched out my Giandel PureSineWave Inverter (2000W/4000W surge/24V) for the SunGold one at my small off grid cabin.

Here are the other components in my solar setup:
900W from 9 100W solar panels
Epever 24V Charge controller (max 1040W at 24V)
4 @ 12V -100 amp sealed lead acid batteries wired in 24V configuration

I got the following error message when I turned the SG Inverter on:

AC: abnormal
I/P-V: 000V

I can’t find any info on how to interpret that error message but I'm thinking it may be an electrical issue with one of my circuits. I sent the question to SG but got an unhelpful reply which surprised me as they have been very good at customer outreach in the past.

I’m a self-taught solar enthusiast (mostly from this forum) with no electrical training. I've had this small solar system at my cabin for 5 years and want more power.

I would disconnect the AC output of the inverter and power it up. If no faults, measure voltage at output terminals to verify. If the fault persists with nothing hooked to it, then you have a bad inverter. Basically, isolate it from the cabin to troubleshoot.
 
Good suggestion. Thanks. I've learned from watching a video of this inverter that "AC input: Abnormal" simply reflects the lack of grid or generator AC input neither of which I have so that error is irrelevant to my system. I haven't managed to get the inverter to power up yet but I took a break for the last week. I thought it might require a load but your reply suggests that isn't the case. Sungold told me to switch the DipSwitch 3 (Power Saver) from 0 to 1 to keep the inverter from turning off to save power when there is not a draw. Maybe the inverter will power up when I change that dip switch. I'm hopeful but not optimistic. If that fails, I'll try getting more significant help from SunGold I guess. I hooked back up my original inverter and everything powered up so at least I have power until I figure this out. Thanks so much for help!

This is valid, the power saver features on these generally don't work the way you want them to. They usually require a large load to wake up the inverter. For instance turning on lights wont be enough to activate it, but a well pump would.

I agree in turning power saver off.
 
Good to know more about the power saver. I did turn on one light when I first tried to turn on the inverter and nothing happened. That made me wonder whether the the power saver suggestion had much potential to solve the problem. But, your suggestion gives me some hope. Thanks!
