Im having to edit this become I have a dead battery again, and it may be damaged this time as it did not cut on once I started charging it. My battery was at 57% last night so I turned off the inverter and only left the MPPT controller on it(as far as I know there is no off for this). 10 hours later the battery is dead how can the MPPT pull that much power or can the inverter still be puling when its off?

Is the battery cold? Did the BMS maybe disconnect it due to low voltage or temp?

I'm with Will. If it's not cold, you probably hit the BMS low voltage cutoff. The BB manual says it will still allow a charging current when in LV disconnect mode. Do you have a voltmeter that isn't part of your system so you can measure the voltage? Do you have a wall charger (even a small one that has an AGM mode)?

I don't have a manual it did not come with one from amazon. I just used my car volt meter and is shows 3.04 to 3.10v. The only thing I have that can charge is a car jump starter that has 500amps(I did not use it yet I dont know if it is safe)

My gut says you don't want to try that, but if an expert can chime in...

Are you near a Walmart? Maybe you can pick up a cheap battery tender or noco charger that has an AGM mode so you can safely and slowly recharge the BB. They're likely open even though it's Thanksgiving. Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving!

My Walmart has little to no battery chargers so can i use the wire off the solar panels to charge it?

How badly do you need the system back up and running today? I thought from prior threads you have grid power. If you can wait, perhaps you can order something like:

EDIT (changed to correct charger link):

That way, without paying a bunch of money, you have a LiFePO4 charger to recharge/keep things topped off during times like this.

Do you know of one for 12 volt?

Sorry, I mistakenly put a 24V link. Here’s a 12V:

If you go to their site there are lots of options. You should be able to find them on eBay as well.

Turns out the MPPT setting made the battery go into protect mode. I found a Vid from will were he made a quick statement about that. Once I hooked up the 1.5amp charger the system was on and the battery was showing 14% left on it it got to 30% in less than 1min and soon it was at 71%. So once it was at 100% I started using it again. I also changed the setting so this wont happen again.

Thank you! I'm confused though, about why it's 14.6 volts and 20 A, Can you please explain what I am looking for, say on Ebay? I have 2 100Ah BB's

Check the BB manual where it covers charge parameters. It wants bulk charge voltage to be 14.2-14.6V.

Sorry, I could find similar ones but not that one on eBay.

I saw that on the BB manual. But where do you get the 40 amp number from? Thanks for looking on Ebay. I will buy anywhere (Home Depot) etc. I was just trying to avoid Amazon since they put me through so much and cancelled my 30+ items and never rectified anything.

I didn’t look for a specific amp value. I just had looked at those chargers before, and the 12V 20A model is the most powerful one I saw and it seems reasonably priced at $99. And I think that company has gotten good reviews.

It was just an example, so take it as a data point when researching chargers.
