Need 300A Covered fuse that can handle 4/0 cable

Something like this?

No Bob, I saw that in the middle of the night when I was searching, and why? only one pole...I need two poles just like that, but thank you for trying to help!

@Bob142 I'm always happy to see our MRBF kits in the wild :)
@Santa , if you're looking specifically for an ANL fuse holder that will accept 4/0, the BEP Marinco 750A ANL holder would do nicely for you. Or if you're not set on an ANL but just need two connection points, our MRBF holders are available in a 2-connection model as well, with each connection holding its own fuse up to 300A.

I knew you’d show up here eventually with some insight.

That BEP ANL fuseholder can accommodate 4/0, I promise, and the cover meets ABYC requirements... do you have other covering requirements? If you prefer it from eBay, here's a listing from a different seller for it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BEP-Pro-In...511456&hash=item5226ec01dd:g:hOYAAOSw~QVdvFe-

@Santa yes I was pointing you toward the 750A holder (a 300A ANL still fits into it) just because it has a bigger cover and the attachment points for the actual fuse and the cable lugs are separated, which makes changing a fuse a lot easier since you don't have to take off your big cables. The Marinco 300A holder should still work for you though, I didn't check its cover to make sure 4/0 would fit, but I bet it probably will. If not, let me know and we'll get you a different one!

Would you happen to have the dimensions? I cannot find them anywhere and am making up a board to see how things will fit. Thanks.

Whoops sorry, took me a while to see this through my lists of notifications... Here's the mounting template for both the regular 300 as well as the 750 from Marinco.

Consider fuse replacement cost, not just initial cost. Don't forget to buy some spares.

If you have multiple parallel strings of batteries you might consider putting lower amperage fuses on each parallel battery leg instead of large amperage fuse on main inverter line.

I was able to get class t fuses for about 10 each off eBay. the fuse holders for class fuses are a bit more expensive though. check eBay vs amazon etc if you keep searching sometimes you find a better price. the lugs for the cables are also a challenge for correct sizing to the studs. I bought 4/0 cable with 3/8 lugs and a hydraulic cable crimper and heat shrink tubing.
