Posting up my order process just in case anyone wanted another review of Docan Power.

Just ordered 64 EVE 280Ah batteries from Docan Power, and now the waiting game begins for their long journey across the Pacific. Worked with @Amy Zheng via email and she was very helpful in getting the order together for me.

It's Chinese New Year right now so batteries not expected to ship until Feb 10th, but I'll post back to this thread with updates as I get them.

What is the advantage having them come from China and not Texas? Shipping costs? I am located in California and need at least 32 Eve 280ah batteries. Why did you chose the 280 over the 304?

I am in Canada and shipping directly here from China seemed to be the most cost effective. If I was in the US the Houston warehouse probably would be the way to go, assuming they have stock (otherwise gotta wait for the ship from China anyway).

I picked the new version LF280's because they appear to be the latest version of the battery, supposedly will last 6000 cycles, where the previous generation EVE 280's and 304's are only rated for half that (but at higher charge/discharge rates).

I had good results from Jenny out of the Houston warehouse.

And the actual results of getting the batteries installed and working are priceless. I put them (32 280Ah cells) in my RV. We had tried to boondock with the stock (and mostly dead) 63Ah AGM batteries and it was a miserable failure. Now we are on the beach in Texas, with everything in the RV running smoothly, batteries charging even with full overcast, using our computers, and being totally off-grid.

Best of luck getting your batteries and your build.
