World's least expensive 12V freeze protected battery???

No, Not sure I tryst it really has low temp charge protection....And it uses cylindrical cells that I'm not familiar with....Not sure if they are any good.

Renogy just introduced today a self heated battery.....Prices are coming down and features are going up. I'll use my AGMs for a few more months....They are 7 years old and still working perfectly!

Well, I bit the bullet and am going to try one. Wanted to do a swap with power station battery to put the 280ah frankenbattery in my RV and put a smaller ah/lighter option in power station. Couldn't build a 100ah battery for same price. Stated low temp charging protection pushed the decision to buy. Fingers crossed? I was also looking at Doncan's us warehouse 100ah option for $350, had the Bluetooth JBD 100a with low temp charging disconnect but was worried about stated continuous charging limited to 30a?

I just bought two. Charging individually now, but don’t have solar due to snowstorm, and my old G7200 NOCO is as slow as molasses. so we can compare notes.

If this goes well, I might buy another. Are you brave enough to test the low temp charging protection? Debating throwing $300 in the freezer, lol. Most curious about that part. If it does, I'll be fairly happy.

In one of the reviews(perhaps for the sister product, which doesn’t have side USB ports), someone did a test and said it dropped charging down to a fraction of an amp, then changed to normal once the temperature came up.

I’m a bit concerned with balancing; my charger says it does lithiums at 14.2 volts. I’ve seen it rise to 13.45 or so before the charger thinks it’s done. That’s measured while the charger is on. Don’t know if that’s the batteries or charger. It’s an old charger, so I’ll have to wait until the snow stops so I can use the MPPT controller with solar to set the absorb and float voltages properly. I’m a newbie to LiFePO4, so….

The link doesn't go to the low temp version. This is the link to the low temp version, which is $30 more.
I'm not sure about that. The lower priced one here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08ZXGYT32/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AS4SMTV88CEKB&psc=1

Says: BMS has low temperature charging disconnection and high temperature charging disconnection.

The wording in the descriptions are different between the sellers, but there really is nothing that indicates those are different batteries, I think one seller is just charging $30 more.

I was going to buy that one, but someone asked what the differences are, and the vendor said the same, but the more expensive one was for applications where you don’t want things to get wet. Seemed goofy to have a side connector and USB ports for less. We’ll see.

Sounds like two snap-action, auto-reset, temperature-controlled switches
in series with an ordinary battery?

The side ports are a nice option for campers that don't use inverters. Hoping this battery is as advertised.

I'd bet money that it is garbage on the inside. I'll have to rip one open. That is dirt cheap.
Could be. But also a possibility they are attempting to get buyers to leave reviews, hence price to entice people and utubers to buy. Either way very curious to see how it pans out.

Me too. I’m almost done charging the second one. Gonna have to invest in an updated charger, as I doubt it’s fully charging withe the NOCO.

Here is what they say:
the low-temperature detection temperature of charging is -10°C. When the low temperature weather is 0 to -10°C, the battery will be charged with a small current when charging starts, and the battery will start slowly. After the battery is slowly heated, it will be charged with a normal current to ensure that the battery can avoid damage at low temperatures. Below -10°C, the BMS battery will stop charging to fully protect the battery.

Seems like your tests and tear downs have had some effect on these cheap Chinese battery introductions. If good, they’ll raise their prices such that they are profitable and possibly keep up with increased demand. If bad, they will probably go out of the battery business and sell something else.

Certainly we owe you thanks for all the reviews you’ve done!

Anyone have their hands on one yet? I'm needing new batteries for the RV.
The price is right on these, but I hate buying garbage. Just wanting something that hits it's advertised capacity, with a BMS that does it job, and constructed good enough it won't shake apart going down our crappy roads....
