Hello from Poland,
I have a Growatt SPF 5000 ES and I wonder why the fans are very loud from 200w of AC consumption behind the inverter. No matter if it's 250w or 4000w the fans run at full speed.
During this time, the temperature on the inverter display was 22.8 degrees Celsius.
Does anyone have that too or is something wrong with mine.

In addition to any loads, the unit is constantly consuming about 70W energizing the circuitry needed to make AC power available even is none is in use. This 70W is converted to heat and has to be dissipated.

If you still have any incandescent bulbs, plug in a 60W and hold your hand a few inches from it... HOT!

There are two fans in the SPF units, one for the inverter, the other for the MPPT. Are you able to tell which one is running fast?

While the inverter fan will always run, it should be at low speed when there's not much load. Mine is audible, but comparable to an average PC when supplying <200w. It ramps up progressively from there.
The MPPT fan will stop completely when there's no incoming solar energy.

This aside, I can see a few other issues on your panel, the battery seems to be absent and there's a comms fault. The fans might be running hard because the unit is in fault mode.

Thank you for your response. I do not know which fan is working at maximum and which is slower. Both seem to be fast.
I have a battery error because I do not have them yet. They are ordered. This is probably not a problem because this inverter can work without a battery.
And for the future, where errors are saved, because I also have a second AC output overload. It was just over 5000w output for a while but the inverter didn't shut down.

I still have a question, did someone connect additional quiet fans in the upper part of the housing on the sides so as to help the original fan to lower the temperature inside the inverter?

I have one more problem with my Growatt. Every now and then I see very high energy consumption between 15,000 - 20,000W on the energy chart. Certainly at this time I do not download so much because I do not have devices that can charge so much on the AC side. Whether it is a problem on the inverter or recorder side.

the fans noise is normal. at around 150W the fans start to turn faster. the inverter needs to transfer DC into AC so there is heatlosses which have to be dissipated. I can´t recommend to put anything on the venting holes, even it is a fan.

The peaks look weird as the spf´s are able to provide max 6000W. disconnect the load and check if the peaks happen again. How often do you have those peaks within a day?

I think these peaks are errors because they are not followed by the power grid.
