I have to apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge and appreciate all those with that knowledge. But how do you wire the output (female) end to a home breaker box? I have only a few circuits I need to power but have no clue. Help! It seems pic's of how to wire aid me the most.

Due to your lack of knowledge you should not be doing any connections to a house breaker box. Find someone with experience.

If an inverter or a generator is used as alternate power in place of the utility grid, a suitable transfer switch is necessary to lock out the utility before connecting the inverter. This is necessary for safety of the utility workers, besides isolating loads from other homes.

Simplest thing for you to do is unplug whatever appliances are on the limited circuits you care about and connect the with an extension cord to the inverter.

Additionally, there should be a ground wire from some suitable terminal of the inverter to earth ground. There are appliances which can pose a hazard if their ground pin and/or neutral aren't properly referenced to earth.

This isn't helpful, we all have to learn somehow.

There are separate transfer switches, both manual and automatic.
But here is what I selected instead, which fits my particular model breaker panel:

I went that route because an instantaneous transfer was NOT recommended by manufacturer of my inverters, rather a 5 second delay.

It is also useful for me to manually turn off excessive or unnecessary loads, not have them transfer to the inverter.

I got the same thing from Home Depot for my CH breaker box. Pricey at $75 for the CH version, but absolutely essential to protect my equipment, house and lineman from me throwing breakers in the wrong order.

The basic idea (if you don't want to run extension cords all over your house) is to move your critical circuits to a separate breaker panel and install proper transfer switch. I'm going to suggest going to YouTube and researching how to install a critical loads panel and how to wire a generator to your house. This will get you pointed in the right direction and get you educated enough to ask more specific questions.

If you're only looking to power a few circuits and want the flexibility to switch circuits on and off while feeding solar use a Reliance 6 port Pro-Tran switch. They have double throw switches allowing you to feed the circuits via grid or solar at any time. They are a breeze to wire to your main panel as well. Check youtube for how to wire it and decide for yourself if its something you're comfortable with. They have lots of models of the 6 port version with variations of Amperage capability as well as breaker sizes - Pick what works best in your application
