JK-B2A24S20P BMS Verify Password to enable settings change

It looks like i have no other option. Thank you for the suggestion. Will try it
As i understand that code is only for unlocking. Afterwards you can set up a new password ?

I'm guessing it is a serial number / time related hash. Probably a large window (1 hr?) but the time on your BMS may not be right. So they say 15 minutes. If BMS time is really off, then that would be a real bummer.
Two pins somewhere that you short to reset the BMS to factory settings. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I was commenting that they should have included a short to clear memory.This is the guess only? Or you know/tried these pins?

I tried resetting a JK B2A8S20P to standard setting and control password. BMS is locked as we don't know these two passwords. 1234 and 123456 do not work.
I received a 8 digit code from a supplier. I used that code within 10min. I tried it in the 'setting Verify PWD' and 'control Verify PWD'.
On both it responded with verify permission failure.
Am I using the wrong button/place to reset?
btw, I am using Apple iPhone with IOS.
Unbelievable that JK makes it so hard to reset.

The code they gave me I just used to change the password, and it worked.

It's not the pairing code, it's the settings password that people wanted to reset.

I have two B2A8S20P, which worked great from Sept 23 to Jan, this year. Updated the Android app from Play Store in Jan, and Bluetooth pairing login failed. JK has now given 3 or 4 temp/15 minute Bluetooth passwords, which have worked to get into the BMSs, but only lasts those 15 minutes.
The vendor says he'll replace the Bms's, but not sure what brand to go to. This bluetooth issue is nonsense.
Suggestions appreciated.

Andy's just done another video, this may help or even be a security problem, one comment says it works on the older BMS's.
