Hey I only asked because they offered an upgrade path for 6500 users to the 18kpv
There was a post this morning in the signature Solar Facebook group that just bought a 6000ex. That inverter is no longer offered new on their site. It was a month ago.
They know its problematic, but they still sold it.
None of it affects me personally, I’m just stirring the pot
Release of the new unit is going to be delayed.

Actually not a big issue really and not software related at all. But they want to have a smooth launch.
They are testing everything. And so will I.
Also their defective unit return system is being overhauled. We will see what happens in the following months.
I do not have an opinion on anything until a product is in my hands or I see the proof of better customer service over time. So till that occurs, I do not have a position on any of these updates.

Smaller potentially in the 6-8kw range I believe, for $1399.
