Jk power button

Ended up watching a bunch of videos and found the power button plug

Now does anyone know what this means?

Unfortunately, as with all things with the JK company, products and user manuals their translation into English is to me, from poor to horrible. But the BMS that I use has so far been very good and no problems with the app updates.

As stated already but perhaps to elaborate; ".... when you can, we suggest that you modify the default password to something more secure, but write down or store somewhere that you will find, the new password AND the JK Default Password, as otherwise you may be locked out. Also, there are 2 default passwords / PINS, one for settings and 1 for app access and statistics. They are: 1234 and 123456"

More info in the JK app, their manual and LOTS of past threads where people have changed and forgotten or lost the changed password for you to search for and read. If you have no RV use, where there may be other JK BMS users in a campground, then you could just leave it at the default.

This is for my home. I really don't have a security risk in someone potentially getting into it as I live in the country. I don't think my other BMS's have a password. Got 4 of these JKs and 6 overkill. On some of the videos that I've seen it seems everyone is left scratching there head on how to get into the BMS settings and finally find out there is a password. Lol
 
I’m so gonna head over and adjust the HVD to 3.25!!! Muahahahaha!!

Agreed about passwords seems very much excessive.
 
Is this heated? The charge UTP is below 0°C which it should not be unless you are doing something special to heat the cells themselves.

Even then I’d still want UTP at 32f-35f.

Change the external heating source setting to come on at 40f and then you’d ever have an issue.

It's in a climate controlled room. So it doesn't need to heat itself
