I added another diy lifep04 48v in parallel with my old battery using jk bms and the new one is drawing half the current as the old one. Charging at half the amps as the other one as well. Any ideas? Wired same way as Wills video on the EG4 6500ex. It runs fine on it's own.

I noticed that my diy batteries never go into float charge. It will however reach bulk but it keeps the voltage there. Is this normal behavior, and if so why even have float? Did not have this issue with MPP. No comms. Battery are set to USE.

I replaced my single MPP LVX with EG4's in parallel.. The LVX would bulk charge and immediately float. On the EG4s it just stays at bulk charge voltage and never goes into float. Any ideas? Other than that it is solid. No silly parallel issues like MPP.

According to the spec, 18a is all one mppt can handle. I assume that I will have to reconfigure my pv array (21amp) so that I don't exceed 18a? If only the 2 mppt's can be parallel...I plan to hook 2 up in split phase configuration and only use the 1 inverter solar inputs. Guess I might have...

Seems like everyone that has AIO's in parallel will have solar panels connected. Can I just hook the primary up to solar and run the other without? Don't want to have to run new wiring and have to split up the panels. Just planning ahead. I have the LVX6048.
