OK. thanks again. I've just had troy from overkill on the phone and he is happy to send out a new module. Fingers crossed I will be up and running soon.

So it is possible the sense leads are functioning but no guarantee the protection is working correctly. The reason I ask is I can't risk testing over voltage or under voltage with the shipped presets of 3.65 and 2.5. So I really am stuck until I can resolve the communication issue correct?

Whilst I wait for a friend to come over with his iPhone I continued trying a few things. The only app which is providing basic data is the Xiaoxiang electric app and I have noticed a pop up that says "connected with wifi" I have no idea how this is possible but I guess this would also point...

It is the overkill 120a 4s purchased directly from overkill in the US.

I have also just downloaded and paid for the smart bms utility app (ios) for the old ipad. It finds the bms in devices but again no data transfer. I will write to overkill and see what they suggest.

That's not the problem blueooth is working with other app just can't set the parameters.

I have now managed to get the overkill app to find my bms in devices by reinstalling the app and completely turning off my Bluetooth then starting it through prompts by the app. However I am now stuck at this point. The app doesn't seem to be able to pull any data from the bms and the blue...

Also, if anyone can confirm that I am simply missing some functionality from the control tab shown in the screenshots in the original post? Everything is working just not the ability to edit parameters. Maybe I am just not understanding the app correctly?

Thanks again. Although I am frustrated that it is proving to be so hard connecting to a bms with a new but basic Samsung phone.

Thanks for the help. I have been through that thread and tried as many apps as I could find with no luck. Even with a dedicated tablet would it not be tricky to avoide android 13? I'm not particularly tech savvy when it comes to these things.

No joy. I am starting to think I will also need the adapter unless somebody has any other bright ideas. I don't mind paying for a suitable app if anybody can recommend a working solution for android 13?

No. I can't get the Bluetooth to connect. I have read all the threads I can find, made sure location services are all enabled etc. And from what I have read it is an issue with android 13. It's very frustrating.
