If you haven't already bought the batteries, you really want the batteries to match the voltage of your system (so 48V batteries). As @alcook62 explained, running batteries in series can work, but requires a lot more monitoring and manual baby sitting/hand holding to safety and efficiently run...

Back to the grounding of the cases that was discussed in the last couple of pages in this thread..... So wouldn't the ground wire need to go back to where the system is grounded like to the main neutral-ground bus bar? Or else wouldn't you get the issue of potentially electrifying the case...

Yes the waiting is hardest part! Are ecoworthy decent quality? Batteries look suspiciously similar to LiTime. I wonder if they are made in the same factory. If the quality is decent, their solar trickle charger looks like a great deal and would be perfect for my boat.

Actually cheaper would be to order some from Amy (https://szluyuan.en.alibaba.com/). For about that same $2000 (including shipping) you could get two 24V 304Ah battery kits. Which would give 50% more Watt-hours.

I would have thought shipping would eat up savings on a single battery, but your price is still $250 less than the 230Aah that LiTime is selling. Good to know!

I don't think 24V is going away anytime soon. Right now it seems to be a sweet spot in RV (kind of a Goldilocks between 12V & 48V). In fact, over the last couple of years it seems there are more 24V batteries and options on the market, not less.

It is probably just type-m flexible copper, so it seems you could cut the lines and solder couplings in. I imagine they should all be the same length. Just make sure you are not below the manufacturers minimum length, but I think that can be adjusted if the system is recharged.
