I’m just reading off the battery touch screen. I always checked the actual battery from time to time in closed loop and they were always within 1% but when open loop voltage they seem to deviate about 3% after a full day of discharge.

After watching Will do his wall mount this way, I think I'll just turn mine upside down and stack against the wall. My battery is designed just like that with connections on the bottom. Not wanting to lift or mount 300lbs on my wall!! :)

I got to thinking these would be easier to put on a rack with wheels with plenty of ventilation. When I open the case it looks like a rack mount. So I may try building a heavy duty rack that way wiring would be easier and I could move it.

I have two massive wall mount batteries that I would rather build a rack on wheels for them so they lay flat. Is there any problem with the wall mounts laying flat? Inside they look like they would be better designed laying flat instead of one the side.

I guess what I’m getting at is if they are compatible and being run closed loop do they automatically communicate all the parameters or do you still have to go manually enter all of them?

If a battery with a BMS that is compatible with an inverter, which one does the talking? Does the battery BMS tell the inverter what all the parameters are or does the inverter tell the BMS what parameters to use?

Thanks for your input. I was gonna try to keep the batteries all identical starting with one 100ah battery and just adding another one every few months till I reach about 30-40 kwh.

If I add more batteries in the future in parallel, does the max continuous discharge change of stay the same? If I run two 48 volt 100ah batteries in parallel, besides the ah adding up, does the max continuous stay 100 or add up to 200? Still learning!!

I looked at the reviews on verified purchases. Seems like everyone said they like the batteries and the shipping and packaging was top notch. I'm always on the lookout for cheaper batteries.

I think the Sol-ark can use the solar panels to run you load center if the grid tie power is off. Are you grid tied or off grid? Someone that knows more can chime in here.

Is there any damage that can occur from using a power washer? Would it harm any type of potective coating on the panels? Sure would be easy to just blast them clean!!

Mine are on the roof of my shop behind my house. They are only at 15 degrees. I was wanting to get in a routine of cleaning them off at least once per month. Just didn't know how much a layer of dust on them will decrease production.
