confirming breaker between 3000k AOI and 48v battery

never mind... I have not received the battery yet, but looking into its specs, it only receives and supply 50A max... so 50A the breaker will be.

confirming breaker between 3000k AOI and 48v battery

Thanks! I thought 4awg, which is what growatt inverter recommended, supports higher currents, like 95 amps or more.

confirming breaker between 3000k AOI and 48v battery

I am still unsure with the size of breaker to place between my AOI 3000w and the 48V 50ah battery. Since the battery is supporting the max 3000W from the AOI, that means that the breaker must be (3000/48) *1.25=78 .. I think rounded to 80amps?

to cheat or not to cheat... that is the question (and some discussion on rebranding equipment)

Why no body told me there are AIO that does not require battery? that would be the nearest to my original cheap option of grid tie but without grid feedback. I just ordered the Growatt LVM 3000TL-ES for much cheaper than a power station with a battery, and if I want in the future to add a...

Bluetti AC2000max, ecoflow delta max 2000.. as AIO experiences

Those who have the bluetties or the ecoflows.. as AIO, what is your experience with them? Do they have a setting to prioritize solar over AC charging? Are they lasting, or are there several cases of issues requiring replacement? Are you really happy with them or wish you better got a real AIO...

Solar Panels - For Natures Generator

I was blind by the portability concept, that's why eg4 lose. And oupes offered good capacity storage, capacity output and capacity input for my budget; perhaps the 150v max solar input that matched my solar panels in serie was also good. Quality is the issue, I am waiting for a replacement since...

Solar Panels - For Natures Generator

These nature generators are tricky,. They make us believe we can connect any panel and woala..free electricityfrom the sun. I just got an oupes mega 2 generator, thinking it will be easier than an aoi system, but in reality it can be more expensive and complex. The only advantage is the...

Safe to use NMOT ? vs sct

I just did something similar. But instead I got the oupes mega 2. I am using the kit with 6 bifacial panels 195w on a solar tracker from ecoworthy. With these generators you just need to be careful the max voltage it gets is never over their limits. Even you can use solar panels totaling more...

Ecoflow Delta 2 connecting to batteries and therefore output of Victron SS75/15

Normally a battery gives as much amperes as the load is requesting unless the battery is capped. So I believe those powerbanks will request the max they can which I believe is the limit they indicated. Normally that Port is also used to charge the bank from a car battery.

Transfer Switch and a power bank - Am I handling neutral and ground right?

I checked the oupes with multimeter and looks like it is not n-g (confirmed by email from manufacturer). Surge protector at panels, and grounding over the weekend. The oupes is totally bricked right now, waiting for approval from vendor for replacement.

Interesting, since everyone (including me) are expert on criticize and find something wrong, and no reply to my post... It could mean that my circuit is OK . Today I had the opportunity to read the "Grounding Made Simpler" series from @FilterGuy and it is a very nice and understandable...

Use my 100W Solar to Trickle Charge the Car Battery?

be careful on those cheap controllers. I made a hack to use the solar panel from my prius. Here I explained why those cheap devices are a danger, and how it was better to use a morningstart controller. https://solarprius.blogspot.com/2014/01/my-prius-solar-hack-installation.html

After reading the "Grounding Made Simpler", I concluded my installation is fine. I looks like the Mega 2 is neutral-ground unbounded with my multimeter measurements, but I had also asked the question to the manufacturer to double confirm. Finally it is the sun at max, and temperature and RH as...

to cheat or not to cheat... that is the question (and some discussion on rebranding equipment)

Some updates here, I purchased a transfer switch, and bought an Oupes Mega 2 power station (2500W, 2048Wh). I liked that one because for $1200 you get solar input up to 2100W which is more than my 1170 watts solar panels produce, and it accepted 12 to 150 volts so if I want to place them...
