JBD has a proprietary bms protocol can't talk to any inverter. You have to setup your growatt battery configuration manually.

give yourself a favor, use it ;-) anyway the bms is temporary mount on the plate with 4 disposable screws. you have to mount it with 6 dedicated screws

Connecting chassis to ground is a requirement, this is not an issue. I'am talking about connecting AC neutral to ground.

That's really weird ,-) I asked confirmation to the vendor since Iam working on a jk to pylon converter, I wanted to be sure it works with most 8s and 16s jk bms. Are you using the gps port or rs485 port ? With my test bms Iam using 5v ttl, since my host controller is not 5v tolerant.

The rs485 port on a jkbms is a 5v level ttl serial interface. If you don't have the jkbms rs485 dongle you need a usb serial ttl interface with 5v level support.

If this inverter is still a derivative of epever inverter, you can't bound neutral to ground on the ac output. If yes their inverters by design can only work with floating ground.

Sunsync is same as deye, compatible with pylon. You can use a canbus seplos bms, if you want bms communication

Voc is available on your panel sticker , you need it to know how many panel in series, since you must respect total Voc <= 100V @25 C°, better not to go over 80V C° to be safe with this SCC.
