I don't know why you think this. There is no reason one can't keep adding batteries to a 24 volt system, same as a 48 volt system. I have 800ah of 24 volt batteries and have no reservations adding more if I need to.

I haven't had any issues with Signature Solar, but The EG4 brand/product line is too new for me to trust it yet.

I'm happy with 24 volts. It does all we need - running a full size refrigerator full time and has enough spare capacity to run a space heater or window air conditioner.

I have had no issues with a couple of DC House 12 volt 100 ah. I also have Ampere Time 24 volt, 200ah that have been perfect.

If you pay a contract manufacturer to tool up for production of your product, would you want them to use your investement to turn around and start manufacturing a competing product before you even hit the market? I doubt it.

You should be trying to get the exhaust and heat AWAY from the house. NOT right next to the house. Your exhaust pipe needs to at least extend above the roof. Do you have any windows on that wall? Is there a soffit or roof overhang above that pipe?

Double check the manual but I think minimum wire gauge for the Multiplus 2 120v 3000 is 6 AWG for AC out1.

Once in a while is OK but in the long term, fast charging is not great for the batteries. How long is the commute? Can you take advantage of the alternator to put some charge into the batteries?
