I'm the same the charging inconsistencies is on and off depending how many amps are trow at them, it's only a few milly watts, I'm still happy with my cells.

Yes I'm really happy with them. At first one of the cell seemed to be off from the rest but after a few cycle and doing a bottom balance they are all staying on par.

I was playing with a STM32 befor switching to the ESP32. I'm using Arduino on both and power consumption are very similar. I only have a small pack to monitor and it's in a camper so my project is a bit different than yours.

I'm working a similar project and I'm using a ESP32 (it has BT and WIFI). ESP also has nice device with wired connection.

Does anyone know what those clips are called? I was also bummed to see the soldered wires on from my BMS

Each side of the cables is a solid pad under the green mask, so the center cables is connected. you can check the conductivity with a multimeter :)

The communication protocol is listed in the download section of the manufacuturer, it dosent look complicated. I has sent a email to "James" for connection port information and never heard back. My BMS has all the connector populated and I received a few extra wires.

When I attached the balancer all cell where equal. I use a resistor to drain and un balance the cells

None, I have just bee cycling the cells so far. I will be doing a bottom balance

Yes I used the multimeter, the cell where not off by much and it was pulling 1.4a.

Mine is definitely working but it's not turning off!
