Has anyone mounted panels at 90deg inclination (vertical)?

Get on PVWatts Calculator website. This site will tell you how to optimize your panels for your location. In the north no doubt the winter months will dictate solar capacity. Mine are tilted about 60 degrees from horizontal and south facing. I am seriously over paneled in the summer...

    Average Consumption?

You are going to be bankrupt using electric energy for heat. Electric prices are going to go through the roof in the next 5 years.

    Quick drop in battery charge

Yes I believe so. For a constant load the discharge curves are typically flat for some time and then yep. I assume the Powermon will records the loads so it should help.

    Quick drop in battery charge

New system 3 months old. I have 8 Renogy AGM 200 AH wired in a diagonal pattern at 24V. When the sun goes down my "battery" capacity quickly drops to 80-85% in just a matter of hours, but then will only drop maybe another 5% by morning 8 hours later. Since these are AGM and I should only...

    New Charge controller alarm

I have totally disconnected both the PV and the battery connections to the CC. I was checking the resistance of the wiring through the conduit. This problem exists even with the PV not connected, just the battery bank. I do not have a switch from the battery bank to the CC, just an 80A...

    New Charge controller alarm

Cant figure out why my charge controller has an alarm light and will not register incoming PV voltage. 12 V Batteries are 2S 4P, with 25.9V output with my voltmeter. When I connect the battery bank to my CC I get the following on my screen. Not sure why I am getting 4V from my PV when its not...
