    Gotion 340Ah Cells

Thanks for all your suggestions which I will take on board.

    Gotion 340Ah Cells

Thanks for the suggestion and I will ask Tewaycell for the test sheets. My terminal posts appear to be the same as yours from the photo. I am a little concerned about the small post contact area when the Tewaycell busbars are added so I have placed copper M6 washers underneath the busbars to...

    Gotion 340Ah Cells

The cells did not come with a data sheet which is why I wanted to fully test them. I have spent a week or so balancing the cells at 3.2V and have just assembled the pack. The next step is to top balance them which is going to take a while as the EBC-A20 can only charge at 5 amps. I will top...

    Gotion 340Ah Cells

I recently purchase four Gotion 340Ah LFP cells and because of scepticism on the forum about their true capacity, decided to fully test all four using an EBC-A20. Please refer to the attached files for complete results but simply, the tested normalised capacities were as follows: Cell 1: 366Ah...

EBC-A20 power supply and fan replacement

Thank you! Mine was delivered with a very noisy fan and have changed it to a similar one as yours and it is now quiet. I calibrated the tester at 2.50 and 3.65 volts using a variable power supply and an accurate volt meter and I am happy that the tester displayed voltage is within 2mv...

    JBD 200A 4S wiring

I used an M6 post screw and an M6 nut to secure. With the new layout, I was concerned about the lug accidentally touching the aluminium top but as it turns out, with it aligned and properly tightened, there is little risk of that occuring.

?'s related to switching from JBD 120 to 200 bms

    1. Yes probably (CAUTION) but you need to do a verification with a volt meter comparing the old balance plug with the new plug wire order. I went from a JBD 120 to a JBD 200 and they were the same in my case but that does not necessarily hold true for you. Ensure that you connect the negative...

    JBD 200A 4S wiring

STL file attached. From memory, I printed it at a 0.2 mm layer height and 100% infill. I have had to compress it to allow it to be uploaded (WinRAR).

    JBD 200A 4S wiring

I will post the STL file for the mount and suggest that you find someone local to where you live to print them. The cable is 50mm2 and is rated to approx 200 amp which I will never approach as my inverter is only rated at 2000 watt. A google search should give you the equivalent AWG rating.

    JBD 200A 4S wiring

They are M6 and no hardware for connecting was supplied. The cable I used was 50mm2 and the lugs were 50-6 (sorry, we use metric here in Australia). Attached is a photo of my setup which is mounted to wall of my RV above the battery bank. I was planning on installing the BMS with the cooling...

280ah Battery Top and Bottom Support Design.

You have done a fantastic job; just wish that I had the space to incorporate your design:(

Xuba Electronics: DEAL - 280AH LiFePo4 cells. Purchase & Review

The voltages they are shipped with are for storage, so I would be inclined to leave them alone until you progress to your next step. I was in the same position as you waiting for parts but as I had a capacity tester, I immediately bottom balanced them and then assembled the pack (4S) and...

280ah Battery Top and Bottom Support Design.

Attached is the spec sheet with the cell dimension which I can confirm, seem to be accurate.

280ah Battery Top and Bottom Support Design.

I really like your design but unfortunately in my case, I have a height constraint of 1.5 cm above the cell height so have to use a flat cover that rests on the terminals.

280ah Battery Top and Bottom Support Design.

I envy you as my printer is not large enough to print the base as one piece. I have designed and test printed a top to cover in two pieces (4S battery) and will upload the STL files once I have adjusted the dimensions now that the cells have arrived.

Xuba Electronics: DEAL - 280AH LiFePo4 cells. Purchase & Review

Has anyone capacity tested the cells from Amy (Xuba)? The reason I ask is that while discharging them for bottom balancing, one won't handle a 19 amp load while so far, all the others can. All cells arrived perfectly balanced at 3.295/6, and from the video of mine sent prior to shipping, all...
