It appears (from the product page) that those only have RS485 communication (Or maybe not #10 below but wiring....) so you have to go that way or use an adapter of some sort. Sorry I can't help much more than that. maybe @marionw ?

That's pretty much the way I've wanted it as well, but I do appreciate being able to check etc. remotely. :)

I use Solar Assistant for monitoring and control but none of that fancy-schmancy automation stuff. Just being able to see what is happening and logging it and being able to change the main parameters is wonderful. Wouldn't live without it. I couldn't care less if anyone can see my solar data.

Mine is set for SBU and CSO I think OSO is for solar charging only but that doesn't say anything about AC Output also what are 35 and 37 set to? that might have something to do with it...

I'm not sure what you mean by Pin 2? Do you mean Address 2 on the battery? But yes, shut everything down before connecting/disconnecting batteries.

When it happens here, there doesn't seem to be any effect on the operation. I.E. it keeps putting out power and appears to be charging from PV but not sure what would happen if it just kept going for a full day or something... I've got no idea what is really going on that causes it and...

I'm not worrying much on it.... it's just annoying and I've got batteries to worry about!!! P.S. because of our clouds, rain, snow for the last three days I had to resort to fully charging the batteries overnight via GRRRRRRRRRRid! Good to give 'em a swift kick in the pants now and then!

Mine is definitely unbalanced but can't easily balance them ..... still may take a look at your method if it gets truly annoying!
