Yeah, I see your point. But why did you pay 2x for your batteries? Thats my point. Do you expect the Winston's to last twice as long as Eve cells. That seems very unlikely.

Looks to me that 4 gauge would easily fit. On the other side of the terminal blocks, are those terminals crimped and soldered?

You skipped over my point: "For the price that Winston charges you should get more than a two year warranty." You cant get a refund after two years because thats the length of the warranty.

But their warranty is not great. I think its two years? I have purchased a number of Redodo 12 volt, 100ah batteries and they have a 5 year warranty. For the price Winston charges they should have a much better warranty.

OK, so how does the "slow boat" work? I'm guessing they go into a container that heads to the lower 48, maybe Long Beach. The container is broken down and then shipped to their final destination be Fedex or UPS? I think it takes about 14 days for a freighter to cross the Pacific.

Redodos and Dj.... On amazon are good and test at rated capacity or moe. Moseworths are ok. You probably have a variable speed throttle. Surge current really isnt an issue. Start slow and increase. Id buy a 100ah. Make sure it has a 100 amp bms.

There are some videos on Youtube that shows what happens when you spear a Lifepo4 cell with a steel conductive spear. Things get hot, but its not a runaway situation. Pretty impressive actually.

I thought that lithium ion batteries were the big fire hazard, and Lifepo4, not so much. There are youtube videos of people trying to get lifepo4 cells to burn and runaway and it doesnt seem to work.
