Awesome deals on "smart" batteries from two companies! Low-temp protection and built-in battery disconnect switch, could be a steal!

I haven't tested either, but both Redodo and Timeusb have sales right now on their own rebranded versions of the "smart" battery clone found amongst several of the clone companies (PowerQueen and LiTime have them, maybe others). They all have low-temp charging protection and the same "one-touch" button on top that controls "power ON/OFF, activate battery from BMS protection, and force charging from low temp. charge protection". I haven't found a video review on any of them, so please link if you know one.

Anyway, the sale at both companies is for $359.99 with free shipping, so it seems like a great deal if the thing works! I've read good things about customer support with both of them, and they have 5-year warranties. If anyone has experience with them, definitely share your story.

Redodo goes until April 16 for the smart battery only, and Timeusb is a site-wide 10% sale until April 26.

Follow-up regarding customer service:

I sent a message to Timeusb via the product page for their metal-cased 220Ah battery to ask a question, and I got a response from a human to my email within two hours. Pretty promising, though of course this is on the pre-sales end, not post-sales.

I just tried to chat with TimeUsb asking for a pdf of the manual for the 110ah “Sturdy”. So we’ll see but it sounds good so far. Posted below:

  • Hello, can I get a pdf of the user manual for my 110 ah Sturdy.
