Well, I guess OP used up their luck for 2024.

Was it beyond the protection level of HyperVOC? (If not then the system performed as designed, if so then OP dodged an expensive bit of pain)

There is no hyper VOC on the Barcelona as for the Rosie shut down, that was when I turned it off and back on to reset the system it didn't turn back on. Other than that it will stay on despite sub zero temperatures to -40° F/C in -65°F windchill as that's how cold it got here.
