It mounts on the Negative battery terminal. The meter then connects to the small terminals.

Not that specific shunt, but I'm going through a similar process.
My 200A shunt used to hang off the battery bus-bar with the cable hanging off the bottom. But after reading a post on here where the shunt apparently failed on overheat and dropped the wire somewhere it shouldn't go I've had a re-think.
I'm also upgrading to a 300A shunt.
So, how about using these bus-bar insulators?
